G-Force Takes It's First Standard Poodle

To the UKC Show Ring

Born #2 of 4 and the only girl, life had a tough beginning.  But with undeniable spirit and unstoppable spunk, she became the dark horse that wouldn't give up.  She began her show career in Feb '05 with only 4 classes and 3 already championed brothers behind her.  The pressure was on.  She watched from the sidelines with transe-like amazement while she waited for her turn to trot around that little square.  When the time came, it only took one loss to realize that those pretty ribbons her brothers preferred to chew, meant something more than "momma's happy" .  After only 2 weekends, momma brought home her little girl and pretty ribbons and a UKC Championship.

By Sept '05, she began to win Best of Breeds.  She won 12 of 17 to finish out 2005 as the #4 UKC Solid Standard Poodle.  She was behind her brother, Pavo, at #3.  Brother Taylor was in the Multi-color Standards at #1 and last, but not least, brother Ashton slid in at #9 behind this litter's aunt Heidi at #8.

Those DGL dog's just don't know the meaning of lose.

Winning her Grand Championship in KY.  Raven won 4 out of 4 Best of Breeds creating a 8 win streak.  The last 17 shows she competed in, she won 12 Best of Breeds and several Gun Dog Group Placements.
